My favorite place to go is 1 Buen Sabor, where I am treated like family. Many of the muchachas call me by name. Two or three days a week I eat comida — rice, beans, and plantain with a selection of meat entrées on the hot steam table. The soups are on another level; I suggest the chicken soup for newbies — comes with rice and fresh cilantro. The bakery products are delicious! Simple and fresh. The coffee is mucho rico! I drink mine black — strong and flavorful, never bitter like other chains nearby.

There’s a reason Buen Sabor is my go-to spot. The staff is incredibly hardworking and pleasant—shoutout to them for always making every visit an enjoyable experience. As for the food? Consistently good. Everything from the crunchy chicharrón to the delicious empanadas is spot on. Their expansive buffet is also fresh with authentic Colombian options. Finally, let’s talk about that café con leche: easily one of the best cups in Queens—perfectly balanced and always hits the spot! Whether you're a regular or a first-timer grabbing a quick takeout or eating in, you won't regret stopping by Buen Sabor.

I’ve been a frequent customer for years. Nice clean restaurant with good hot tasty food and the coffee is amazing. The staff are very nice, courteous, and attentive to customers. Norma is extraordinarily great at ensuring customers get the best food served. 5-stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Great food awesome environment! Delicious empanada and chicken soup! Great portion and price. A lot of food items to choose from and breakfast food selection and pastries are great! Highly recommend this place.
